Members of the United Kingdom's House of Commons are elected by First Past the Post. The House of Lords is unelected.

European ElectionsEdit

The UK's Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) are elected by a closed list system in Great Britain and by Single Transferable Vote in Northern Ireland.

Members of the Northern Ireland Assembly are elected by Single Transferable Vote. The Assembly is currently suspended. STV is also used for local council elections.

Mayors are directly elected in each of the following Towns and cities.

  • Mansfield

The method of Supplementary Vote is used for these Mayoral elections.
